Busy Summer

I haven't posted in forever, but the summer (and life) has been so busy it's really hard to find the time. With a almost 9 month old that is in to everything we are pretty busy these days. We are heading off to vacation at Holden Beach, NC in a little over a week and I can't be more excited. I feel as though I haven't had a vacation in forever!! I am ready for a little R&R. It will be fun to see Reese at the ocean for the first time, though I doubt she'll remember it when she is older. Hopefully we can keep the sand eating to a minimum.

Ready for Summer

We are ready for summer! They rain is finally going away and the weather is warming up. We even got out Reese's little blow up pool this weekend. She didn't quite know what to think and wasn't a huge fan of it yet, but I think she'll love it eventually.

Catching Up

-So, it's been awhile since I've posted anything so here is a brief catch up. I've decided to stay at work. We've now been in daycare for 2 months and although Reese has had a cold for 1 month of it, she is doing really well. Im glad I made the decision to ride it out and see what happens, because it allowed me to not go totally on emotion. While I still think about taking some time, I def. did the right thing for now. Other than being a little sick on and off she is doing well and we are much better adjusted.

She talks like crazy, though we have no idea what she is saying. She never stops moving, so we'll be in big trouble when she's mobile. She's sitting up, rolling around, laughing and demands all ov everyones attention. We've also moved to a little bit of solids now that she's about 5 months (well in 2 days she will be). Cereal is going better and she loves peas and now carrots. Bottles are a little torcherous as she is so disinterested in eating because she is so interested in everything else. I guess were just so awesome that she can't get enough :)

To Stay or Not to Stay, That is the Question

Were are a week and a half into daycare. So far everything seems to be OK, except that I only get to see my girl for about 2 hours a day and quite frankly that sucks. So, I have been tossing around staying home for awhile. I am having the hardest time making this decision. I never thought it was something I would even consider, but I'll never get this time back. Most of my friends who work would stay home if they could, my friends that stay home said it was the best decision. What to do, what to do......Agonizing

Finally!!!

It's been awhile since I've written anything and this blog is certainly an update. After trying to have a baby for years we finally got there. Reese Elizabeth Jarrett was born on 11/27/10. Getting there wasn't easy, the birth certainly wasn't easy, it was so long and Im sure motherhood won't be a piece of cake either, but I sure am enjoying the ride!
